I've often wondered about this. We live in country (canada) where we actually get a break for giving. You give money away and you get some money back. Okay, I'm maybe simplifying a little here. But I had a thought for those of us who tithe or give to an institution (church in this case) who gives you a tax receipt, if you're getting money back in your taxes, why not give whatever portion of that which is tied in to your tax receipts away (maybe without looking for a tax receipt)? Just a thought on a Monday.
