It's the end of the second term and both Lucas and Xanda brought home their report cards.
Xanda's doing really well in Senior Kindergarten. She's come a long way from her being sent to the office to see the principal in Junior Kindergarten. I wish I had a story like that to tell. Great ice breaker in all kinds of situations. She did really well this term. At this level they don't get marks, only comments by the teacher. All very positive.
Lucas is in the world of marks though.
Last report card he had a great report card. With that in mind. He brought up five of his grades a whole grade and went down a partial grade in two classes Phys Ed & Drama. I know, where does he come from?
Highlights, he got the 2nd only ever A that the teacher has ever given out for Reading. Six A's, Seven B's and one C in measurement (What the heck is measurement?)
Anyway, we don't pay a lot of attention to the marks, but he's so excited about it, I had to mention it. That and he's started to read my Blog so, I had to mention it.
