Just recently I talked about last year's worst experience of our lives with thinking we'd Lucas was gone at 4 A.M. and we couldn't find him, while we were camping.
From then on we promised to lock our zippers and when we got the camper, our door during the night.
8 A.M. Tuesday morning Xanda wakes us up to tell us Senzenina is gone. There's something about 8 A.M. that is a little less threatening than 4 A.M. There just is. Still, we didn't know how long she'd been gone for. So the search began.
The search was much quicker as she she'd gone over to my mom's (ed's) site (still a pretty big distance as we're not all camping beside one another. However, she'd gone there at 6 A.M. She'd told my mom Vania brought her, so my mom didn't think to check with us.
So, the heart beat a little fast for just a second, but not for too long.
Of course I blamed Vania (just a little) as she was the one that said she was locking the door. Somehow, she'd decided that we really didn't need to. Now she's changed her mind. I know I'm a big boy, I could have checked the door myself.
Like I said, you'd think we'd learn. It almost sounds like we're trying to lose a kid.

Glad everyone is safe!

Posted by: anna verbridgeI'm a really heavy sleeper! When I wake up, I'm up. But until then I could sneak out of the camper and I wouldn't notice.
