Today was Senzenina's 4th birthday. Party won't take place 'till the weekend. However, she got to choose the menu for dinner, hot dogs and cherry tomatoes with a side of carrot sticks and dip. For desert she wanted a true delicacy, Timbits.
She's really excited to be four. She thinks she gets to start school tomorrow. Xanda's doing. She'll be disappointed.
At four, Nina is a fun loving little girl. She is the most sensitive of all our children. All I have to do is raise my voice very slightly and she falls apart. And then needs to be consoled for a long long time. She always wants to know that she's loved. And she's quick to tell you that she loves you and that you are cool (if you're a boy) and beautiful (if you're a girl.) Nina excells at gymnastics, her first report card was clad in A's, she loves it. Her one quirk is that she absolutely cannot sit still. She watches TV while jumping on the couch. She removes the cushions from the living room couch and begins to jump and doesn't stop until her show ends. It's something to watch. Actually, I should get a video of it up, yup, that's what I'll do.
Don't know if you've noticed or not, but all our families birthdays fall pretty close together. Xanda (Oct.) Marcelo (Dec) Me (Dec.) Nina (January) Lucas (March) Vania (April). Vania says that with long weekends and our birthdays, with the exception of two months, we have something to party about all year long. Now if we can plan a baby in November and one in February we'll have the whole year covered. Just kidding. But as Vania's mom likes to say, until the snippy, snippy happens, all things are possible. But, I digress.
Happy Birthday Senzenina!!!
