Apparently, let me make that part clear, but apparently, I will be having a photo show in March. Now this leaves me both very excited, and very, very scared. Trust me, as much as I'm loving photography, there's a high jump between there, putting up pictures on the web, and actually putting your stuff on display where people walk in to eat, etc.
Having said that, Breah Patterson, a member of our Living Room, member of our church, is also the owner of a really cool local cafe. The Studio West Cafe here in Port. She sees her cafe as a means of ministry and one of the things she does is open it up to musicians and other artists. And last week she asked if I'd be interested in doing a photo show. Okay, long story short I said yes.
So, now to plan, what pictures to show or not? How to display? And last but not least, what do I call my photography. Thus this post - "eye thots" by eddie is Vania's idea. I actually like it, Vania and I don't typically see eye to eye on names. But this time I think I liked it.
Anyway, I'll be picking pictures and figuring out the rest of details 'till then.

Wish we could go see it and support your budding photography!
I would love to be part of something like that as well. If only New York city wasn't crawling with artists and photographers, maybe it would be a little easier! :)
Woohoo!

don't always see eye to eye - eye thot's!!!
oh you funny too!!
hi jodi, you're the only one who caught it :)
Posted by: eddid u take that eye shot? That's awesome!!! Reminds me of when I did my eye exam recently and the lady showed me the pic they take and see of the inside of our eye and she told me how each vein and detail is connected literally with telling all of our health condition of our entire body-our major organs! Incredible...she told me I was in good health just by a pic of my eye! Our eyes really are the window to our soul not just spiritually, physically too!
Posted by: SandraRegarding doing the photo show...the same is happening at our church lately...people are having the same such open doors for them to display their art work and photo shots for the same purpose. God is definately in that and I say go bro!!! don't let anything hold u back from doing it, you've been given a gift, use it and reach other's through it! If u feel it's a small thing as u r beginning and learning, just remember:"little is much when God is in it". And you've got much already for just a beginning!!
