So, the photo show is over. All in all I was pleased with the results. It was financially profitable and it's lead to two photography assignments (two family shoots)...which scare me to death, but have me excited at the same time. I'll keep you updated.

And this Hamilton shot is fabulous!
Thanks Erin - Hamilton shot - 12:30 at night on a cool, crisp night on a dock that I didn't know existed. Found it when they closed the Skyway bridge and we had to detour under it. Just had to stop. I will definitely be going back there as I didn't have my tripod with me.
By the way, that Photoshop book - CAN YOU SAY AWESOME? My knowledge of Photoshop has probably quintupled in one light skim of the book. As much as I knew you could do in Photoshop, I'm blown away now that I see what and how you can do it. I love the format, totally takes the complication out of it. Thanks for letting me borrow!!!
Posted by: edcongrats on the photo show. Good luck with the shoot.
And what's the name of the photoshop book?
Looking forward to hearing news of the new DeFreitas member!
Almost there with the DeFreitas member...
The name of the book is called, not very creative, I might add, but I think that was the point, "the adobe photoshop cs3 book for digital photographers.
There is a previous version before CS3 if I'm correct...Author is Scott Kelby.
Very, very good...everything is not just taught it is shown, like having a bunch of visual tutorials, it's written for intermediate to advanced users of photoshop, but I don't get how they could have made it any easier. Very, very cool.
And thanks Glau.
Posted by: edSo, you need to take me with you when you go back.
:)
I'm game, but I want to wait for the later spring, early summer...I was shivering something bad by the time I was done.
