We had a good vacation camping at Long Point Provincial Park over the last two weeks. Bit too much rain for my taste, but over the years we've learned to deal with rain without it detracting too much from our holidays, although a little more sun is always more welcome. On the plus side, even with rain it was always warm enough to be in a tank top, day and night.
Didn't lose any kids this year! Although Vun ate something that didn't agree with her system that had us call the ambulance and go to the hospital in the middle of the night. But it didn't last too long and she was fine the next morning.
This just happened to be the first picture I took on our holidays, so it's the one I'm posting. I'll have the rest posted on my flickr site later on, I don't know when, but hopefully soon.
Glad you are back and that you had a good time! I bet Emmerson will be a natural camper with all of the little wilderness adventure guides in his family!
Hi from everyone here! (Hope you're not too emersed in a mountain of laundry now!) :)
Oh Man, it's laundry, it's all the stuff that we have yet to unpack. And a trailer that got some water damage and now I'm trying to figure out whether I tear it apart.
Anyway, not huge deal, but coming back trying to get back on track with work stuff and planning for the Fall, Canal Days - glad that's over, though it was fun...it's just been busy. What I find about camping holidays is that they're pretty tiresome. A different kind of tired, more physical than mental....Pretty much 4 days of your holidays are setting up and taking down. I'm planning to take three weeks next year to have a little extra time between the set up and take down.
See you around...
