First Golf Game of the Season
It's the first real sign that winter's leaving. All of a sudden Winter doesn't feel like it took so long to go by. That's right. This afternoon, for a few hours, I and a few other gentlemen clad in green played our first game of golf in a still, pretty soggy golf course. Sure there was some fog and a cold breeze. Sure our game has gone downhill since only a few months ago. But who cares, because we got out golfing. And even better, I was out golfing for free. You heard it right, because my good friend "Jeff" has a corporate membership at a local golf course, which means, yes, I will be golfing for free all summer long.
The truth is, it was a beautiful day, lot's of sunshine, specially towards the end. And just a wonderful way to start the season. All in all, I'm surprised that my clubs still remember what they're supposed to do. Walked the course too, so, even took in some exercise. All things said great time. But now it's late at night and I'm doing the work I was supposed to be doing this afternoon. But that's the price you pay for a little fun :)
